This gorgeous period coastal residence is perfect for families and friends with dogs looking to relax and unwind overlooking the sandy beach, dunes and sea. Located in the heart of Barmouth, a seaside resort, and near Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), which is an all-year-round destination, a stay in this cottage offers so much to do right on the doorstep. Stroll along the beautiful sandy beaches, visit the museum, enjoy an evening at the Dragon Theatre (0.5 miles) or sample some of the delights in superb restaurants. Learn to paddleboard, swim in the sea, experience new water sports, take wildlife boat trips, go sea fishing or join the many footpaths and cycle routes. Further afield, climb the Cader Idris mountain range (5 miles) or bring your golf clubs to try out the links golf course at Harlech (10 miles) and visit the castle.

Open the door into the long hall, where there’s plenty of space for your outdoor attire and start exploring the house which oozes period charm, original features and all the luxurious touches throughout. Walk down to the striking high-tech kitchen, which has been beautifully designed with all the contemporary desirables creating a sociable space to prepare your meal. Let the outside in, open the door and listen to the seagulls whilst cooking dinner or whilst sitting with a coffee around the quartz island. When the food is ready, the dining room is beautifully furnished and is the perfect setting for everyone to gather around the table and enjoy a meal together with views towards the beach. Also on this floor is a separate WC. After dinner, you have several options for entertainment. Retreat to the magnificent first-floor lounge with its comfortable sofas, Smart TV and feature fireplace. If you fancy a game of pool, head down to the basement where you will also find the cinema room and chill zone. If you prefer to settle down with a book or use your laptop, relax in the throne chairs on the library landing or head up to the top floor to the library office. When ready to retire, the bedrooms are over four floors. All have been individually designed with a unique feel, top-quality mattresses and linen, and boast lovely coastal and countryside views over the town. Go past the half-landing shower room to the first floor where you will find a spacious zip-and-link super-king-size bed (which can be a twin on request) with an additional comfortable sofa. Also on this floor is a separate WC. Up on the next floor are the spacious super-king-size bed with a Smart TV and a sofa, another zip-and-link super-king-size bed (which can be a twin on request) and a cosy double. Go up past another half-landing shower room and choose from a zip-and-link super-king-size bed (which can be a twin on request), a spacious zip-and-link super-king-size bed (which can be a twin on request) with an additional sofa, and the bespoke bunk beds with a double bed and a single above which adults and children alike will enjoy for a great night’s sleep.
