If you venture a bit further, the highly sought-after town of Salcombe is 16.5 miles away, situated in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Renowned for its breathtaking coastal views and water sports opportunities, Salcombe is a haven for activities such as sailing and paddleboarding.
Enter this quirky retreat and downstairs, you’ll find an open-plan cosy living space with a double bed, a lounge area and a kitchen. To your left is the double bedroom space with a large oval-shaped window to let the light in on those cosy morning lie-ins. The lounge space is centred around a warming wood burner and the kitchen offers a great compact space to cook up some evening meals, which can be served up at the dining table tucked away in the corner. Completing the downstairs space is the bathroom, with a walk-in shower and WC. Moving upstairs onto the mezzanine floor, you’ll find a quirky space for children with another double bed and across the landing is a cosy den with beanbags, a games console and a Smart TV. Please note that head height is restricted up here.
Outside, there is a raised deck BBQ area with seating and an overhead shelter. Toast marshmallows in the fire pit and unwind watching the stars.
