A beautifully presented, brick and flint, detached house in the peaceful village of Docking. The village itself has a good pub, fish and chip shop and local store and is close to many coastal villages that have long sandy beaches to explore. Brancaster (5 miles) is popular, especially with families and dog lovers, and there is an excellent golf course that sits beside the salt marshes and sea. At nearby Old Hunstanton (8 miles), children can play in the soft sand dunes, and further around the coast, discover Wells-next-the-Sea (11 miles) with its colourful beach huts and picturesque harbour, where many hours of fun can be had catching crabs from the quayside. This part of the county is packed with National Trust estates, stately homes and nature reserves, all within 8 miles; Sandringham Estate, Holkham Estate, Houghton Hall, RSPB Titchwell and Snettisham to name a few.

Behind the vibrant, red, front door is a welcoming retreat with calming and contemporary styling. The lounge is a wonderful space to be enjoyed all year round. Relax, put your feet up and get toasty in front of the wood burner after blustery walks along the coast in the cooler months. When there’s a warmth in the air, push open the bi-fold doors and immerse yourself in seamless indoor/outdoor living. The dining table in the adjoining room comfortably seats six guests, so gather friends, share laughter and enjoy each other’s company. The fully equipped kitchen at the back of the house delivers everything you need to serve up a delicious home cooked meal using local produce. A separate utility room and a shower room complete the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three immaculate bedrooms; a super-king bedroom, that can be set up as twin beds if requested, a king-size bedroom, and a double bedroom, each with individual style and quality mattresses to ensure a restful holiday. There is a fourth room with a desk for anyone wishing to study or catch up on emails. The family bathroom is spacious, with a separate shower and bath; don’t miss the opportunity to run a big bubbly bath and unwind with a good book.

This stylish retreat sits within a large, fully enclosed garden with lawn and patio area. The ideal spot to enjoy feasts round the table in the warmer months. Children have space to run around while the adults can savour a glass or two of their favourite tipple.

Well-equiped and comfortable property - we felt at home straight away. Spacious garden and secure off-road parking. Useful downstairs bathroom with super walk-in shower. Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was available. Property was clean and tidy on arrival. Pub within walking distance was OK, but there are better ones are aRead more short drive away eg The Gin Trap at Ringstead, and the Duck Inn at Stanhoe. The shop a couple of doors away from the property was a bonus; has pretty much anything you may need. Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely property. Hide

Beautiful house in a fantastic location for so many of the areas highlights. The kitchen has everything you could need: we cooked a full roast dinner and had all the trays, pans etc we needed. Comfortable beds and great showers. Great to have the Spa next door for shopping bits and a pub to walk to. I would imagine it would be lovely to sit out in Read morethe summer too. We would definitely return to this property, Hide
