This pet-friendly property is situated on a quiet lane in a peaceful rural location within easy reaching distance to the heart of Saundersfoot. Located less than 1 mile from the seaside village of Saundersfoot, the cottage is well placed in a rural location but close enough to all the amenities. While away an afternoon pottering around the harbour and the local shops before settling down on the soft sandy beach. If you have brought your dog with you then there’s an area specifically for dog walkers, where they are allowed to roam free. Those looking for longer walks will be absolutely spoilt for choice as Saundersfoot is on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is an 186-mile-long national trail covering some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Britain. Along this varied trail you can expect to find rugged cliffs, sheltered coves and spectacular beaches as well as a plethora of wildlife and fascinating evidence of human activity from the Neolithic times to the present day. Approximately 3 miles from Saundersfoot you will find Tenby, which is one of Wales’ top-rated seaside towns boasting fine Victorian houses, beautiful beaches, a quaint harbour, small boutiques and notable eateries.

The cottage itself has lots of character and features a living/dining area with large windows which allow the natural light to flood the room. The windows look out onto the spacious garden giving the room a peaceful and rural feel. Here you will find a unique space with a patterned tile floor, comfortable set of sofas, cosy wood burner and TV. There’s also a dining area where you can enjoy your evening meal whilst soaking up the views. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday stay with your friends or family. On the ground floor, there is a comfortable twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and on the floor above a spacious king size bed with TV and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

The lawned garden has plenty of space for your family and dog to relax. Here you will find garden furniture and a patio area for dining alfresco whilst overlooking the green surroundings.

The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable week. Being a short walk to the beach and Saundersfoot was an advantage. Overall, a good base for a holiday in this area.

A lovely dwelling in a fantastic area . A superb view ( we had glorious weather) a 20 minute walk into Saundersfoot which is less busy than its neighbour tenby. So quiet . You could hear a pin drop. Watching squirrels running across the lawn and the gypsy ponies in the neighbouring field. Loved every minute of our stay

Spent a v enjoyable week with son, his partner and 10 yr old grandson. The large downstairs bedroom was perfect for me as I have mobility issues. Containing 2 v comfy big singles ( even the pillows were good- not always the case) and good sized walk-in shower in the ensuite. The lounge/diner floor to ceiling windows gives uninterrupted views tRead moreo garden, fields and landscape beyond is v relaxing and gives a great sense of light and space. The upstairs bed and sep bath are enormous. The kitchen is tiny but appearances are deceptive as it is v well equipped and more than adequate for our needs. Just a mile walk( if you can ) is Coppet Hall beach. It's v clean with cafe and other amenities nearby but access is extremely inadeqaute - not just for disabled (wheelchair access is impossible) but families with pushchairs etc. This could and should be improved as once on the beach it is perfect for fun and games for all ages. I hadn't been to S'foot for some years but would love to come back soon and would certainly stay again at Stonecroft . Side note: A big thanks to the owner, Mr Frost who was v kind and accommodating, taking possession of and then retuning the wheelchair I hired for my stay Hide

Very comfortable, and well equipped cottage. Helpful host, but not intrusive. Bit of a hike to the beach and town, but, with an energetic dog encouraging, us we made it a least once daily!

Beautiful dog friendly, rustic cottage with spacious attic room and the most stunning views. Log burner for cosy evenings and a great garden. Location was perfect - 15-20 minute walk into Saundersfoot main square. I would definitely recommend. Sleeps four and great in any season!
