Allerford is a quaint village in Somerset within Exmoor National Park and its magical moorlands. Walking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with direct access to woodland walks and bridleways, with plenty of space for your four-legged friend to let off steam. Only 1.5 miles from the coastal village of Porlock which is known for its stunning natural beauty, traditional cottages, tearooms and shops. Pop into the local coffee roasters factory in Porlock that has been around since 1888 where they also blend their own tea. The villages of Selworthy and Bossington also have tea rooms to walk to. Other places of interest are Lynton and Lynmouth (13 miles) known as Little Switzerland and take a ride on the funicular railway powered by water that connects the two villages. Stroll around the local shops, galleries and eateries, walk through the village to the spectacular Valley of the Rocks, which is breathtaking, or pick up the South West Coast Path nearby.

Step into the pretty cottage and leave your muddy boots behind. After a day of exploring relax in the lounge on the comfortable sofas and enjoy catching up on a box set or a favourite movie on the Smart TV. The fully equipped cottage kitchen offers everything you need to whip up a favourite recipe and enjoy a romantic meal at the dining table. Completing the downstairs is the shower room. Take the stairs to the master bedroom with a sumptuous king-size bed. There is a room next door that has limited access but has twin beds if required.

Outside is a shared courtyard, walled garden and terrace area. However, if you want your own privacy, there is a small area laid to gravel with a table and chairs overlooking the beautiful countryside.
