This rural cottage, which adjoins the owners’ 17th-century farmhouse, is perfectly placed for families to enjoy a range of activities, stunning views and fantastic walking trails from the doorstep. Brynsiencyn is the nearest village, just under a mile away with a small range of cafes, restaurants and shops to explore. Just outside of the village is Foel Farm Park (3 miles), a popular day out for those with kids as there are opportunities to hold the animals and take a ride on a tractor as well as get a glimpse of how chocolate is made. For beach days, Newborough Beach (7 miles) is a great option with picturesque views and plenty to do. Well placed to be in the countryside but near the beach and the city, head to the city of Bangor for a wide selection of eateries and shopping experiences.
The open-plan living space makes the heart of the home, with a wood burner, two comfortable sofas, a dining table set for four and a warm ambience throughout. For mealtimes, the renovated kitchen is a great space with reclaimed materials and wooden beams creating a unique area. The sunroom is the perfect place to kick back and read a book and gaze over the gorgeous countryside views come rain or shine. Sitting above the living area is a crog loft with a single bed, accessed by a steep ladder. Both the king-size room and twin room boast views into the garden, with built-in wardrobes and thoughtful touches throughout. To refresh after a long day of exploring, the family shower room has a corner shower with a seat for comfort, it is fully tiled and benefits from underfloor heating; a real treat for the cooler months of the year. Enjoy the games room located in an outbuilding in the garden. Here you can enjoy table football, Xbox One and a selection of games. A bike rack for 3 bikes is also attached to the side of the games room.
To the front of the cottage is a pretty garden, whilst at the rear, a lush green lawn garden and paved area with seating and BBQ is the best place to be during the summer months. There’s even a small football goal to get a little family competition going.
