Swanage is a picturesque coastal town, offering breathtaking views of the sea and hills, as well as attractions for all ages and interests. From beach lounging to historical exploration, you’ll find a diverse range of activities within walking distance. The surrounding Purbeck Hills offer abundant hiking and cycling routes, while the coast beckons with water sports. Traditional streets adorned with independent shops and eateries add to the towns allure, complemented by a year-round events calendar. Swanage is an idyllic spot for a holiday, conveniently close to attractions like Wareham, Studland, Corfe Castle, Monkey World, and Arne, which are all within a 9-mile radius.

Head through the courtyard garden to the private entrance door into this beautifully converted chapel. A ramp leads to the galley style kitchen, practical for wheelchair users, which opens into a fabulous open plan living space with a dramatic vaulted ceiling. An ideal social space for friends to gather, you can enjoy leisurely meals at the dining table before settling down beside the Smart TV. Leading from this room is a cosy twin bedroom and a wet room style shower and WC. Winding stairs rise to the first floor, where there is a second bedroom, complete with a balcony where you can watch the trains on the steam railway line to the rear. There is a bathroom next door and a cosy reading nook on the mezzanine, with a single pull out sofa bed suitable for one additional guest. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are some areas of restricted head height on the first floor, which only adds to the charm of the property.

Take the kitchen door back out into the courtyard, which is furnished so you can make the most of the morning sun or enjoy a drink after a day spent exploring.

Great location, easy walk to the town and the beach and we loved hearing the steam trains go by. The cottage itself is very spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. The parking space is an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

We arrived to a very clean house. The parking space is great. The paved garden is small, but a real suntrap. The sofas were very comfortable as were the beds. The towels were soft and fluffy! A lovely house to bring our little dog with us on holiday. Situated in a great location for walking to the beach and shops. The bus stop opposite the house Read morewas very handy for visiting other Dorset villages. The steam train at the back of the house was great to go and watch. The nearby park was lovely to exercise our dog in. We would thoroughly recommend this property. Hide
