Experience the charm of this homely cottage nestled in the picturesque coastal parish of Morwenstow in North Cornwall, offering sumptuous accommodation to families and groups of friends. Make the most of the local amenities at your feet, with a 13th-century pub, local shops, and a children’s play area on your doorstep. Half a mile away lies the famous South West Coast Path, meaning walkers are spoiled with scenic routes northwards towards the Devonshire coast, and southwards into Cornwall. For traditional days by the sea, the surf hotspot of Bude is just 8.5 miles away where you’ll find golden sands, turquoise waters, waters sports equipment hire, and plenty of welcoming pubs, restaurants and cafes. Other North Cornwall attractions nearby include the village of Tintagel (26 miles) and its magical Tintagel Castle, while closer to home the charming villages of Boscastle, Crackington Haven, and Widemouth Bay are all within 22 miles of the property.

Step into this chic cottage, newly renovated for 2024, and notice the original features like exposed ceiling beams and stone walls that combine with modern, homely comforts. Spread across three floors, it’s easy to unwind in this home away from home, starting on the middle floor where a cosy lounge with calming decor, an L-shaped sofa, and a wall-mounted Smart TV offer all you need to relax after days of coastal adventure. When stomachs start to rumble, walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner where wooden flooring and stone walls set a rustic vibe. Flick on the Smart TV in this space and find that the stylish kitchen boasts all you need to whip up memorable feasts for your loved ones, who can enjoy the chef’s work at the dining table nearby, or out on the decking in the enclosed garden. When day turns to night, guests have three splendid bedrooms to choose from, one downstairs on the ground floor, and two above on the second floor. The ground-floor bedroom offers a king-size bed with a well-appointed en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, while the top floor boasts another king-size bedroom and a cosy twin, both served by the well-equipped bathroom that divides the two rooms and completes the interior.

Accessed from the ground floor, guests will uncover a peaceful, enclosed garden with space to unwind with your holiday read or evening tipple. On balmy evenings, gather at the picnic table on the decking and enjoy al fresco meals together deep into the night.
