It’s a perfect romantic escape, and there's an abundance of walking and cycling paths waiting to be discovered, ideal for those who love the outdoors. Nearby Laxfield beckons with its medieval church, a shop, and two traditional pubs (1.5 miles) or, alternatively, visit Halesworth which offers a variety of independent shops and eateries (8 miles away). Meanwhile, the market town of Framlingham is home to an impressive castle (8.5 miles). For coastal adventures, the seaside town of Southwold features a lively promenade and a historic pier. Walberswick, with its quaint shops, cafes, pubs, and sandy beach, is 16 miles away. Additionally, the renowned music venue Snape Maltings is 16 miles away, or visit the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh (19 miles).

Tucked away within the owner's grounds, this pretty annexe welcomes you through its front door into a cosy open-plan living space. Two steps up lead you into a warm and inviting area seamlessly blending the kitchen, lounge, and dining space. The lounge features a plush sofa and a TV for entertainment or is simply a peaceful area to enjoy a book, ideal for unwinding and relaxing after a day of adventure. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need for simple cooking and easy meals, featuring storage space for essentials and a breakfast bar, perfect for casual dining or intimate evenings. As night falls, the bedroom awaits with a comfortable double bed. Adding to your comfort, there is an en-suite shower room available for your convenience.

Step outside to find a secluded courtyard featuring a bistro table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the sunshine and the picturesque countryside. Alternatively, access the west-facing lawn, equipped with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining and relaxation.

We have just had the most perfect stay at the Old Dairy . Hosts could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. The Old Dairy is spotlessly clean. Very tastefully put together with fabulous attention to detail and comfort. The welcome pack was very generous and delicious and so super helpful to get through first evening and breakfast mealRead mores. Our Dogs enjoyed there welcome gifts too. The Old Dairy is situated in beautiful peaceful surroundings with lots of lovey walks. We were even treated to a fabulous walk with our host to show us where the best sunsets were to be observed. Local pub food was perfectly acceptable and a great atmosphere was enjoyed. Great beaches a short car journey away. The information folder provided by our lovely hosts was very informative. We stayed at the cottage for a week in July with our two dogs and received a very warm welcome from the owners. Communication was good leading up to our stay and during the week. Pictures were a good representation of the property. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise and meant we didnt have to ruRead moresh off to find a shop. It was very peaceful and within a short drive to lots of beautiful coastal villages. Southwold, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness were well worth a visit. The dogs also enjoyed the beach at Sizewell. Snape Maltings and Orford also worth a visit. The local pubs in Laxfield were also worth a visit and good for food. Hide
