A wonderful, homely, family house situated on the North Norfolk Coast Path and 200 metres from Morston Quay. This barn conversion overlooks the salt marsh towards Blakeney Point and provides direct access to a beautiful stretch of unspoilt coastline. Morston is popular for boating and sailing, and has a good pub and an award-winning restaurant. Pick up the coastal path or catch the Coasthopper bus service and take a ride to the other lovely villages along the coast. Head to Blakeney or Cley (less than 3 miles away) where you can try crabbing or visit the Cley Marshes Visitor Centre. Don’t forget to book a boat trip to see England’s largest grey seal colony at Blakeney Point. Visit Wells-next-the-Sea (6 miles) for white sandy beaches decorated with colourful beach huts, or sample traditional fish and chips on the quay. The Georgian market town of Holt is only 6 miles inland and is a popular shopping destination with its boutiques, antique shops and art galleries.

This welcoming, coastal holiday home is ideal for multi-generational families and groups of friends looking for a quiet location right on the North Norfolk coastline which can be enjoyed at any time of year. Entering the house via the front door, you are welcomed into a bright and spacious kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and boasts a traditional AGA which heats the space in the cooler months too. The dining table comfortably seats nine guests where stories can be shared, and laughter can be had over meals of fresh, local produce. When the weather is warmer, throw open the patio doors to let the fresh sea air flood in. There is a handy utility room with additional cooking facilities. The ground-floor bedroom is accessed from the dining area and has a single bed with patio doors and an en-suite shower room. The sitting room is perfect for gathering everyone together with ample comfortable seating. The room is filled with light from windows on all three walls and the wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere. The first floor can be reached via two staircases, one in the kitchen/dining room and another in the sitting room. Heading up the stairs in the sitting room, you’ll find two relaxing bedrooms, one with a super-king-size bed and one with twin beds, and a shower room. The twin bedroom has a connecting door through to another twin size bedroom. This bedroom can also be reached via the stairs in the kitchen/dining room, along with the final twin bedroom and another bathroom. All four bedrooms on the first floor enjoy beautiful views across the salt marshes towards the sea.

Outside, there are plenty of grounds for enjoyment and relaxation. The south-facing courtyard garden is filled with mature plants and flowers providing a sheltered seating area. Excellent property situated in easy reach of neighbouring villages. Wells, Blakeney and Cley. Well equipped. grandchildren loved the freedom of the large garden. All in all it is a fantastic base for visiting Norfolk. We also had a table tennis table in the garden which the children enjoyed.
