Situated in Old Colwyn Village, a stone’s throw from the sea, on a lovely tree lined avenue this charming ground floor apartment with a private garden is the perfect base for exploring North Wales. From the property, the seafront is just a five minute walk. Stroll or cycle along the newly refurbished north coast promenade, hugging the beautiful shores of Colwyn Bay to Rhos on Sea. Bryn Williams’ Bistro at Porth Eirias offers a midpoint for coffee and ice cream or a mouth-watering dinner with panoramic coastal views from the restaurant. The popular towns of Llandudno and Conwy are easily reached (approx 7 miles). Llandudno offers not only a plethora of shopping opportunities, cafes, restaurants etc. but also the chance to summit the Great Orme via cable car, visit the ski centre, and stroll the promenade to the stunning Victorian pier with its traditional seaside attractions. Or explore the world heritage site of Conwy Castle, visit the smallest house in Britain, a traditional Welsh fishing harbour, wander the old lanes and discover charming eateries and antiques shops. The world renowned Bodnant Gardens encompassing 80 acres of stunning gardens to explore and enjoy is also nearby. In easy reach of the A55, travel into Snowdonia National Park, head over to Anglesey, or hop between the cities of Wrexham and Chester with ease and the world famous Portmeirion Village is just an hour's drive away.

A level path leads through the pretty front garden of this property to the front entrance. A porch shared with the upstairs apartment allows access to the private front door and spacious entrance hall of this ground floor apartment. The wood panelling in the hallway gives a sense of cosy elegance and is an introduction to the comfortable furnishings that adorn the property. Beautifully complemented by charming décor sympathetic to its Edwardian character yet with vibrant and modern touches. The lounge at the front of the property offers pretty garden views through a large bay window. There’s a traditional fireplace, a cosy sofa and separate chair perfect to cuddle up on in front of the smart TV or tuck into a good book after a day of exploring. The spacious dining room seamlessly connects the two, creating a harmonious flow throughout the home. As the evening draws in, retire to the spacious, high-ceilinged, king-size bedroom where a quality leather sleigh bed and soft bed linen make for the perfect night’s sleep. Wake to the morning light shining through the large window overlooking the front garden, before heading to the modern, bright bathroom to get yourself ready for another fun day ahead. At the rear of the property overlooking the spacious private rear garden you'll find the fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need to rustle up a romantic meal for two or a tasty fry-up full of local produce to start your day.

From the kitchen you can step down to the rear garden and patio area. Rattan seating and table allows for relaxed al fresco dining on warm summer evenings or enjoying a coffee in the morning sunshine and fresh sea air.

The flat is lovely, well furnished, cosy and beautifully clean. It's not clear that although dogs are welcome they are not allowed in the bedroom or living room. Five minutes walk to the sea front and Aldi is even closer in the opposite direction. Pubs and takeaways also in walking distance. The host is very friendly and helpful and only neRead morext door. Lovely cosy apartment with everything we needed for a few days, even feeding bowls and towels for the dog ( though we had brought our own) . Location excellent for local amenities, we thoroughly recommend Ken's Kitchen, which is just a five minute walk from the accommodation, for a Chinese takeaway!
