This sumptuous barn conversion nestles in the peaceful Herefordshire countryside, close to the neighbouring counties of Shropshire and Worcestershire. Offering delightful accommodation to couples and small families, the property is surrounded by welcoming towns and villages that include Woofferton, Ludlow, Leominster, and Burford (all within 9 miles). Also nearby is the quaint market town of Tenbury Wells (3 miles) where you can soak up the local history and explore the quirky town trail. Walkers will enjoy waterside strolls along the Rive Teme which flows by less than 500 metres from the property and leads to scenic footpaths through meadows and forests where local wildlife thrives. Wildlife spotters will also enjoy peaceful visits to Bircher Common (7.5 miles), while history-lovers can peel off from here to visit the nearby Croft Ambrey Hillfort and the National Trust’s Croft Castle (both within 9 miles).

Set on a tranquil, 4-acre smallholding, this welcoming barn charms on arrival with its lawned, open-aspect gardens and rural vistas. Notice the chic oak cladding that wraps around the property, and step inside to find more delightful features like exposed wooden beams, crisp white walls, and tall ceilings. The heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen, diner and lounge, which is soaked in natural lights thanks to the large windows and glass patio doors. After days of rural adventure, settle into the comfortable seating to catch up on your favourite shows on the wall-mounted TV, and when stomachs start to rumble, find all you need in the kitchen to cook up memorable meals for your loved ones. Sit down to eat at the small dining table here, or al fresco-style out on the quiet, furnished patio. When day turns to night, a hallway leads to two delightful bedrooms, both of which offer light and airy decor, with rural artwork adorning the walls. Choose from a double bedroom and a cosy twin room. A well-equipped family bathroom completes the interior of the property.

Outside, step out from either the living space or the twin bedroom to find a sun-soaked, peaceful patio where a charcoal BBQ and table and chairs allow for al fresco food and drinks. In front of this is a long, lawned garden where little ones and dogs can play. Elsewhere on site, find two paddocks for morning walks or post-dinner strolls, and make use of the kennel for your faithful friends. Little ones will love the chickens, while sheep can also be seen grazing in the neighbouring fields.

Lovely little cottage and the owner was lovely upon arrival and very helpful. Not entirely cleanly and could do with a bit more attention to detail on the turn around from guests. But a very nice place to stay overall.

Very peaceful cozy cottage, small lounge but functional. Semi private. Nice dog walks and great for star gazing when it gets dark.
