This charming 17th century thatched cottage nestled in the idyllic village of Lockridge, Marlborough makes the ideal retreat for families, friends, or a romantic getaway. Lockridge is designated as being of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and the centre of the village is a conservation area with a popular village pub in walking distance from the cottage. Enjoy wondering around the Lockridge Dene where the sarsen stones comprise the outer circle of Stone Henge (22 miles). Discover the historic market town of Marlborough (4 miles) renowned for its broad high street, independent shops, and vibrant weekly market. Take scenic walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal or visit the ancient Avebury Henge and Stone Circle (4 miles), a UNESCO World Heritage site.

As you step inside this wonderful cottage full of character, and historic charm you find yourself in the central living room with all its authentic charm of stone walls, exposed beams and a large inglenook complete with wood burner. A wonderful stay opposite stunning walks. A really cosy little bolthole close to everything in the local area. We loved it and so did our dog!
