Cragdale Mews turned out to be absolutely perfect for the 2 of us plus our 7year old collie ,Fitz. Bed was cosy and comfortable with plenty of space in the bedroom. The shower is one of the best Ive used. Hot and powerful which I needed after a small stumble outside the bike shop/cafe. No major injuries but the power shower massaged those aching muRead morescles a treat. The living area had just the right amount of comfort. The kitchen was well equipped and the layout was spot on. Perhaps a small lamp upstairs would be a little better than the kitchen lights. But that didnt really matter. Parking was at the car park opposite. Overnight parking was cheap. And taking fitz out for that late night walk was a doddle around the car park. So much to do in the local area too. We were there primarily to see the Ribblehead viaduct and we werent disappointed. Booked again for next year so we can safely say that Cragdale Mees was a big hit with us. Hide

Fabulous property. Exceptionally clean, bed was really comfortable and we had everything we needed for a 3 night break. Appreciated the coffee and biscuits and the basket of dog towels was a nice touch too. Visited several nice dog friendly pubs, where the staff made a big fuss of our schnauzer Ozzy! Lots of good walks from the cottage and the gorgRead moreeous Malham cove only a short drive away. Would highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay again. Hide

A great place with a very high standard. We loved this cottage. Parking in local car park was easy and a stones throw from cottage. The market town is great to explore on foot and part of the Pennine Way is on the doorstep. Overall, its a lovely cottage in an interesting town.

Excellent place to stay -- right in the centre of this wonderful market town. There are so many places to visit from here, but there is also so much in the town you could spend a week here and still not do them all!

Beautiful cottage, ideal location, car parking nearby, brilliant for dog owners, loads of great places to eat/ takeaways. Some lovely individual shops. Enjoyed the flowerpot festival (July/August). Great base for exploring North Yorkshire and Lancashire.

This cottage is beautifully presented and the furnishings are lovely. It was spotlessly clean and the bedding and towels smelled amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, we used the coffee machine, oven and microwave and they all worked well. We had plenty of hot water and the shower was great. Very generous welcome pack - which was much appreciated.Read more Our dog felt very relaxed here and now that the front garden area is fenced it made it safe. Owners left towels and poo bags for dogs and throws to put on the sofa if needed so that your dog can join you (ours preferred the floor!!!). There is no parking directly connected to the property but the car park is a few meters away and we had no problems parking- it's very close to the property but not noisy with traffic. Settle is a very pretty town - it's very dog friendly with nice walks in the town and surrounding areas. There are lots of cafes, a great butcher, take aways and a couple of supermarkets. We had good fish and chips from the market Square ( market day on Tuesday) and would also recommend the Thai restaurant (Darlings). I would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing holiday but it's also a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Hide
