This attractive stone cottage is located within 500 metres of the centre of Sennen with its picture-perfect harbour and long, sandy beach. At the beach, you can enjoy sunbathing, surfing, and much more. Sennen Cove is a large village close to the most south-westerly point of the British mainland and has some great places to eat as well as friendly pubs. Local attractions include Land’s End (2.5 miles), Cape Cornwall (6.5 miles), the mining museums of Geevor and Levant (10 miles), and the famous Minack Theatre (5 miles).
On arrival, you will first encounter a large boot room that contains a washing machine, and storage space for kicking off sandy shoes and walking boots. Adjacent is the open-plan living space with a lounge, dining, and kitchen area which charms with its exposed stone walls and wooden beams overhead. First in line is the lounge with a cosy wood burner, abundant comfortable seating, and a Smart TV and DVD. In the dining area, there is a table with ample seating for all guests including a window seat, a bench, and two chairs. The kitchen comes complete with granite work surfaces, an oven with a hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. You can also find a selection of books and DVDs in the living area. There is electric heating throughout the house. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, all with views of the harbour. Choose from a sumptuous king-size bedroom, a welcoming double and a twin bedroom with a TV. Close by on the first floor is the well-appointed family bathroom which has a roll-top bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC.
Stepping outside to the front of the property, you will see a picnic bench with great views of the village and harbour below. There is also an elevated garden to the rear with a BBQ, chimnea, and a second picnic bench. You can see the whole beach from this area too. Please note the garden is accessible via steep steps. On-street parking is available subject to availability and there’s a pay-and-display car park within 500 metres.
