Staithes is a pretty, traditional fishing village with bundles of charm. Located 10 miles north of Whitby, it offers an idyllic location for a seaside escape. The village boasts some of the narrowest cobbled streets: its network of ginnels, nooks, and winding roads with mismatched cottages are bursting with charm. There is plenty to see and do, with pubs, cafes, shops, art galleries, and a fish smokehouse. The village hosts real ale and jazz festivals during the year and attracts many visitors. For those wishing to take to the water, there are regular boat trips to Whitby from Staithes, or try your hand at crabbing off the quay. The village is also known for its abundance of fossils which can be found along the small beach and in the cluster of rockpools. There are also many walks around the area along the Cleveland Way clifftops and over to Whitby.

Upon entering this property, you'll immediately feel its warm and inviting atmosphere. The charming living room, featuring a cosy wood burner and comfortable blue sofas, is perfect for relaxing and socialising with your loved ones. White wooden panelling on the walls adds to the property's quaint feel, with artwork showcasing the local area. Move through the living area, past the bay window with river views, to the bright and stylish dining room, where a bold marble dining table and wicker chairs create an ideal spot for family breakfasts and evening meals with friends. Open the door during the summer to let the warm breeze drift in. The kitchen features blue cabinets, light wood worktops, a Belfast sink, and patterned tiles. Upstairs, you'll find a family bathroom and three bedrooms, one of which benefits from an en-suite bathroom. The first bedroom is a cosy space with white walls and a beamed ceiling. It features a large grey bed, wooden bedside tables, a spacious wardrobe, and a floor-length mirror. The second bedroom is perfect for children, with modern bunk beds and a charming, beamed ceiling. The main bedroom is a striking space with sloped, beamed ceilings, a sleigh bed and a vintage trunk with space to pack your things away. The en-suite is modern and stylish, featuring sloped ceilings, grey tiles, and a bathtub. The family bathroom includes a bath and overhead shower.

Step outside to a tranquil, paved area right on the water's edge, where you can enjoy the peaceful sound of the rippling water.
