It is centrally located between the beautiful coastal villages of Aberdaron (6.5 miles) and Abersoch (8 miles). Visit Porthor (Whistling Sands) (4.5 miles) – a beach famous for its ‘whistling’ sand that emits a distinctive sound when walked upon. It's also a great spot for picnics and beach games. Visit Hells Mouth (Porth Neigwl) (7.5 miles), a popular surfing destination with long stretches of sand and impressive waves, ideal for both experienced surfers and beginners. Discover the stunning coastline, cliffs, and hidden coves. The walk between Aberdaron and Abersoch is particularly beautiful and provides ample opportunities for photography and wildlife spotting. Take a boat trip from Aberdaron to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) , known as the Island of 20,000 Saints, or indulge in some water sports activities in Abersoch including sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding and kayaking.

After leaving the car in the off-road parking to the front of the house, enter the hallway via the front porch and find yourself in this single-storey property, packed with facilities. As you enter you are greeted by a welcoming dining area to your right. The dining table, perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals, sits adjacent to a quaint log burner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen, equipped with modern amenities, offers lovely views. Even washing up in the Belfast sink is an experience, with the views of the mountains and Irish Sea to admire. To your left, you'll find the lounge, a comfortable space with sofas and a Smart TV. This room is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, offering a cosy spot to relax with a good book or to enjoy a movie night with loved ones. When it’s time to retire for the night, the cottage offers three delightful bedrooms. The small master bedroom features a king-sized bed, and benefits from a projector and pull-down screen which can be hooked up to visitors’ tech or the house Blu-Ray and DVD player. The second bedroom houses a comfortable double bed, while the third bedroom has two single beds, perfect for children or additional guests. The shower room, featuring a large electric shower and heated flooring, completes the accommodation.

At the end of the garden lies a bar area with heater, adjacent to a simple games room boasting a pool table which also converts into a table tennis table and a Darts board. A large, beautiful garden begs to be used both day and night. On clear evenings, stargazing is an experience like no other. I really wanted to rate this property 1 !!! Simply to stop anyone else from booking here! I have to say it was perfect though and rate it 5 all round! We had the most wonderful few days and could have stopped longer if possible! But that wretched work business gets in the way. From the moment we walked in everything seemed just right. The beautifulRead more garden was enclosed and meant our two dogs , one of them a pup, could play outside to their hearts content, our dog hasnt moved since we got home, so worn out is he! The addition of the little games room is brilliant and we enjoyed darts and pool competitions between us. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was spotless. The lovely dining table was great for family game nights after a day at the beach! This is probably the nicest and best cottage we have stayed in and will hopefully return one day soon! Thank you to the owners for letting us stay Hide
