Nestled in the peaceful Devon countryside and surrounded by rolling fields, this delightful cottage is perfect for couples or small families with the dogs in tow. Narrow country lanes lead down to the property, which is typical for the area and sets the scene for rural walks and bike rides. For more outdoor adventures, the magical Exmoor National Park (15 miles) charms with its varied landscapes of rugged moorland, wooded valleys, scenic hills, and dramatic coastlines. Similar scenery can be found further afield across Dartmoor National Park (27 miles). Transform your rural getaway into a seaside holiday by exploring the sun-soaked North Devon coastline which sits just 12 miles away. Resorts with traditional amusements and golden beaches include Westward Ho! (12 miles), Saunton (13.5 miles), Woolacombe (18 miles), and Ilfracombe (19 miles). For typical Devonshire towns and villages, visit Barnstaple (6 miles), Bideford (8 miles), and South Molton (12 miles).

When stomachs start to rumble, cross the room and find that the chic kitchen boasts all the space and equipment needed to cook up memorable holiday feasts. When day turns to night, follow the stairs to the first floor where two delightful bedrooms await, both with stylish, calming decor. We had a lovely relaxing stay at Mavis cottage it was homely and cosy. Cottage was well equipped and dog friendly.

Comfortable, clean and well equipped property, safe enclosed garden for the dog and plenty of parking space. Good location for touring North Devon.

Lovely cottave that had been done up to a really high standard. All the finishes are lovely. Fab having two bathrooms in a small property. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Very private location with a nice gravelled garden area and bbq. We enjoyed our stay. A bit further out to drive to things than we had originally planned but we still enRead morejoyed the beaches at Croyde and Barricane where they do a lovely Sri Lankan curry in the evening. Would recommend the property to a couple or small family. Hide

Lovely, relaxing stay and so peaceful. Our hosts were super welcoming and on hand if we needed anything at all, they also left some great information about the local area. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a great location for the various beaches and sights.
