Wander round the gorgeous gardens at Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum (5 miles) and enjoy refreshments in the Earl Grey Tea House. Stroll along Beadnell Bay watching water sports and try some rock pooling, and there is a beachside cafe and two pub/restaurants in the village. Take a boat trip from Seahouses (7 miles) to the Farne Islands for amazing wildlife and visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens (7 miles).
