This charming holiday retreat is located in the depths of Dorset’s countryside, happily hosting a small family or a couple seeking that extra little bit of space. Surrounded by the exceptional walking routes, fields and hills of the Dorset National Landscape and River Frome Valley, you will surely experience no end of adventure when staying here. Step out and walk or cycle the country roads and well-maintained footpaths. Bridport is close by and famed for it's Saturday market and antique centre. Bespoke shops and eateries reign here and you can pick up supplies for a picnic on Eype beach or a walk up eye catching Colmers Hill in the Symondsbury Estate. Dorchester is'nt far either, with it's medieval heritage and beautiful architecture, well worth a visit. Lulworth Cove with its iconic limestone arch is a must see and a swim in its pretty horseshoe bay. Visit The Swannery at Abbotsham for a lovely family day out or visit the monkeys at Monkey World. Moving further south, spend time on the incredible Chesil Beach, 10.5 miles away. This 18-mile stretch of shingle shores is a site to behold, stretching all the way from West Bay (12 miles) to Portland (19.5 miles) along Dorset’s Jurassic Coast World Heritage coastline.

This pretty property has been lovingly maintained to create an entirely welcoming space to unwind. Wander up a few steps and along the garden path to reach the property, noticing the painted slats of the exterior and the bench merrily positioned outside. Once inside, the soft, calming colour scheme of the exterior continues, with wooden beams painted to add a touch of character to the space. The ground floor offers a lounge and kitchen/diner in one neat space. The kitchen is well-equipped, flooded with light thanks to skylights, and has a breakfast table for your mealtimes. Next door, the lounge offers soft sofas and armchairs positioned around a Smart TV. The property’s shower room is also located downstairs, alongside the twin bedroom that’s snug and inviting. The second bedroom is a fabulous double with ample storage space and an en-suite WC.

At the front of the property, a delightful, enclosed garden is mainly set to lawn. There’s a patio space tucked into one corner, complete with a stylish outdoor dining set for al fresco evenings, along with the bench by the front door.

There are some beautiful nature reserves in the area, including Kingcombe Meadows (3.5 miles), where you can amble along the boardwalks, meander through the flower meadows, and relax in one of the pretty picnic spots. Chesil Beach, which stretches for an impressive 18 miles, is just 10 miles away. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all on a peaceful stroll along the shoreline. The vibrant seaside town of Weymouth is renowned for its fantastic sailing and water sports. The town also has a golden beach, historic harbour, and a great range of independent shops and eateries.
