Escape to this stone-built retreat with friends or family and stay in the peaceful heart of the Peak District National Park. This light and airy apartment is nestled on a working beef farm in the quiet hamlet of Heathcote, 1.5 miles from the charming village of Hartington. Known for its warm hospitality, Hartington boasts excellent pubs, tempting cafes, and a renowned cheese shop that's a must-visit! The apartment is perfectly located for exploring the picturesque walking and cycling trails of the Peak District, as well as nearby towns such as Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, and Leek (all within 12.5 miles). Don’t miss the majestic Chatsworth House, cycling along the scenic Tissington Trail, or the beautiful Dovedale Steppingstones, all within 14 miles of this delightful rural retreat.

Before stepping inside this tranquil ground-floor apartment, take a moment to appreciate its splendid stone exterior and the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds you. Head on in to find that the Peak District charm continues as you uncover well-appointed living spaces that combine original cottage features with modern, homely comforts. The impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner forms the social heart of the home, where exposed wooden beams, stone walls and brick alcoves combine with whitewashed walls, fresh wooden fixtures and stylish furnishings. Unwind in the sumptuous lounge space after days of Peak District adventure, sinking into the L-shaped sofa while the Smart TV streams your favourite shows and the crackling wood burner warms you. When stomachs rumble, walk around the corner to the well-equipped kitchen and find everything you need to whip up a Peak District feast for your loved ones, who can gather at the breakfast bar to eat if numbers are low, or around the wooden dining table which offers more space. When day turns to night, choose from three beautiful bedrooms. These rooms include a welcoming double with an en-suite bathroom, a king-size bedroom and a cosy twin with a Smart TV, both of which boast en-suite shower rooms.

Throw open the glass patio doors from the living space and step out to a peaceful private garden area. Find a gravelled section with a picnic bench for al fresco meals, perhaps using the BBQ that awaits. You can also rest weary walking muscles in the private hot tub that perches on a cute decking area in the corner. To the front of the property, guests will also find a bench for quiet morning coffee which sits next to the private parking space for up to three cars.
