The village lies along the banks of the River Spey, a popular spot for fishing. This breath-taking part of Speyside offers miles of tranquil walking trails, and is known for its many whisky distilleries, the nearest being Benrinnes and GlenAllachie (both within 1 mile) with Glenfarclas, Cardhu, Glenfiddich, Aberlour and Macallan all within 7 miles. Other local attractions include the Speyside Cooperage Visitor Centre, Linn Falls, Speyside Falconry and Lochpark Adventure Centre, all within 12 miles. Take a trip on Britain's most northerly heritage railway at Dufftown which keeps alive an eleven-mile line linking to Keith.
Entering this delightful wooden lodge, a handy front porch provides room for wet coats and muddy boots before you head through to the cosy and idyllic lounge/kitchen/diner, providing a lovely space for you to settle back and unwind. This charming room features comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a welcoming wood burner, alongside a dining table and a useful kitchenette. When it’s time to turn in for the night, head through to the fresh and relaxing king-size bedroom. The accommodation also offers a stylishly designed shower room with a shower, WC, a feature stone sink and whisky barrel unit.
Stepping outside, the decked area has plenty of garden furniture and makes a relaxing spot for a morning coffee or a wee dram in the evenings.
