Just a short stroll from the property, Instow Beach (0.5 miles) lies along the banks of the River Torridge as it meanders to its mouth nearby. Vibrant Instow also boasts a delightful range of restaurants and friendly pubs, plus a popular foot ferry crossing the river to the picturesque village of Appledore, which is home to the North Devon Maritime Museum (1 mile). Also within easy reach is the Victorian seaside resort of Westward Ho! (5 miles), with its glorious, 2-mile stretch of golden sand leading up to the beautiful Northam Burrows Country Park. Tapeley Park Gardens, The BIG Sheep, and The Milky Way Adventure Park are all within 12 miles, perfect for family days out.
