An ideal rural retreat for couples and smaller families, this delightful cottage lies in a secluded spot overlooking the serene open spaces of Towyn Trewan Common along the western coast of Anglesey. One of a pair of cheerful holiday homes which can be booked together by larger groups, the property is surrounded by beautiful countryside and makes a fantastic base for keen walkers following the idyllic Anglesey Coast Path. Set close to the RAF Valley, the cheerful coastal town of Rhosneigr is within easy reach (4 mile drive or 1.5 mile walk), with two tranquil beaches: Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, providing a great spot for an array of water sports. Birdwatchers can spend a day at the RSPB Valley Wetlands (4.5 miles), and motorsport fans can head to the Trac Mon Anglesey Circuit (6 miles).
Entering this colourful cottage, you will be greeted by the first of the property’s two welcoming conservatories: a lovely light-filled space with cosy seating and far-reaching views. Exploring the ground floor of this fresh and beautifully updated retreat further, there’s a tastefully arranged lounge with a TV with DVD player, electric fire and ample seating. This leads through to a stylishly decorated and fully equipped kitchen, perfect for rustling up meals which you can enjoy in the adjacent second conservatory: a charming spot with a dining table and doors out to the back garden. Heading upstairs, there are two bright and characterful bedrooms – a cheerful double and a relaxing twin – as well as a light and refreshing bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Stepping outside, there’s a lovely front lawn shared with the neighbouring cottage and offering plenty of space for children to run about. Meanwhile, the enclosed back garden has a patio and gravelled space with outdoor furniture, making a lovely spot for dining alfresco in the summer. There’s also ample off-road parking space available.
