Overlooking historic Bamburgh Castle and the green from its enviable position in the heart of the village, this delightful stone cottage is just a two minute walk from sandy Bamburgh Beach and offers welcoming accommodation to families and groups of friends. Before venturing deeper into Northumberland, take some time to explore the village, discover its quaint shops, pubs and tea rooms, or roll back the centuries with a visit to Bamburgh Castle (500 metres). Enjoy a bucket-and-spade day at Bamburgh Beach and find more coastal splendour when you visit nearby Budle Bay, Holy Island, Seahouses, Low Newton-by-the-Sea and Craster (all within 12.5 miles). While you can see Bamburgh Castle from your cottage windows and outside space, another one awaits at Alnwick Castle and Gardens (16 miles), meaning lovers of history are spoiled. Walkers will enjoy the many walking and cycling trails from the village, and the dramatic Northumberland Coastal Path which passes your front door.

Before entering this welcoming property, take a moment to appreciate your peaceful village surroundings of quiet green spaces and historic buildings. You will find that the Northumberland charm continues as you head inside where original cottage features blend with modern, homely comforts. Kick off muddy walking boots in the hallway where you'll find a useful downstairs WC, and hang coats in the handy storage cupboard before walking through to the sleek and well-appointed kitchen/diner. Here, find all the space and amenities needed to cook up a feast for your loved ones, and gather at the dining table next to the window to enjoy the family chef’s work. After dinner, move through to the social heart of the home, the lounge has a relaxing feel with its calming decor and castle views. Settle back on the comfortable furniture as you flick on the Smart TV and fire up the wood burner for a cosy night in. When the day is done, head upstairs into the cottage eaves and discover a master king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, along with a family room featuring a king-size bed and an additional single bed, served by a well-equipped en-suite bathroom.

Outside, to the front of the property, there is a patio area with an outdoor table and chairs. Use the gas-fired BBQ here to prepare al fresco meals. Outdoor bike storage is available, while the adjacent parking space here offers private parking for one car.
