An impressive holiday home for a large party, this stylish, Scottish retreat is perfect for that extended family or group of friends getaway. Sleeping ten guests, the sumptuous, six-bedroom retreat offers enticing accommodation across its main house and annexe and features a wood burner and an enclosed garden with a hot tub. Situated in Carrbridge, 7 miles from Aviemore, it is perfectly located for hiking and climbing, as well as playing golf and skiing. Head out on forest walks or follow off-road bike tracks. Your children will adore the Landmark Forest Adventure Park, 1 mile away, while the adults in your party might prefer to sample a single malt on a tour of the Tomatin Distillery, 9.5 miles away. If this takes your fancy, there are plenty of other whisky producers in this area. Take in the magnificent scenery from a heritage steam train along the Strathspey Railway, from Boat of Garten, 5.5 miles away.

Let yourselves into the main house, which has underfloor heating throughout, via the front door, pausing to hang jackets and leave walking boots in the large cupboard. Make your way through to the capacious, open-plan kitchen/diner, with its chic kitchen area featuring everything you will need to help you cater for your party. Pause at the breakfast bar with a cup of coffee then dine at the long table against the beautiful backdrop of the forest. A useful utility room and office, for anyone seeking to catch up on a little work, can also be accessed from here. The lovely lounge, where you can stoke up the crackling wood burner and settle down in front of the Smart TV, adjoins. A snug, where the younger members of your party can watch different TV programmes or play games on the console, is also downstairs. Four-legged friends can be accommodated in the dog den beneath the stairs or in the utility room. Also downstairs, there is a WC and two of your bedrooms. These include a bunk bedroom and a sumptuous super-king-size, with a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room. Another super-king, a king-size and a twin can be found up on the first floor, together with a family shower room and family bathroom. 

The large, enclosed garden at the house is perfect for spring and summer stays. Here, you can light the BBQ and grill your fresh Scottish salmon and Cairngorm sausages out in the fresh air. After dinner, fire up the hot tub and bubble under the stars. There is private parking here for six cars.
