For a restful Welsh holiday, stay at this stunning three-storey Victorian house in an elevated spot in Trefriw Trefriw overlooking Dyffryn Conwy, the Conwy Valley. It’s ideal for friends, small families and couples. From your doorstep, take a leisurely stroll to the enchanting Fairy Falls at the Crafnant River (150 metres) and explore the village’s inviting café, two pubs, restaurants, shop, butchers and historic Woollen Mill. Arriving is a breeze, whether by train at Llanrwst North (1 mile via the Gower pathway and suspension footbridge) or by car, with parking available at the church 300 metres away (please note, the walk up from the parking spot is steep). Discover ancient woodland paths nearby or visit the market town of Llanrwst (2.5 miles), with its Tudor-era Gwydyr Castle (2 miles). Betws-y-Coed (4 miles) awaits for outdoor adventures, bike hire, and craft shops and galleries. Within 10 miles, explore Conwy’s historic walled castle and Llandudno’s sweeping Victorian promenade.

On arrival at this beautifully designed terraced house, you’ll enter straight into a modern kitchen and dining area where you can also leave your walking boots and coats. This leads through to a cosy lounge with a Smart TV, inset living flame gas fire and sofa space for lounging. French doors open out onto a Juliet glass balcony revealing truly breathtaking views over the village and valley. On the wall, a framed map of the Eryri, Snowdonia National Park, that the house sits in, helps you plan possible outings. Head up the stairs to find a luxurious bedroom with a king-size bed, a Smart TV and another Juliet balcony – though here, the views are even more magnificent. A large bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath completes this floor. The charming single bedroom is found on the lower ground floor. It has underfloor heating, a Smart TV and barn doors that lead to a contemporary shower room.

From the single bedroom, another set of French doors leads to an enclosed courtyard filled with planted pots, seating, a charcoal BBQ and a secure space for bikes. Dogs can roam freely and safely in this space. A path from the other side of the gate leads you directly to the village. On-street parking is available for by St Mary’s Church (300 metres, steep walk up), or on other nearby streets and the village car park.
