This charming, stone-built home is the perfect romantic bolthole for two, surrounded by countryside with uninterrupted views over the Cober Valley to the sea. Set high up within the grounds of the owner’s farmhouse, it is ideally placed for exploring the delights of beautiful West Cornwall, with Falmouth, Penzance and the stunning turquoise waters and miles of white sandy beaches of St Ives Bay, all within 16 miles. Known as ‘the gateway to the Lizard', Helston is less than 3 miles away. The Lizard is a walker's paradise, where rugged cliffs drop down to stunning beaches like those at Kynance Cove (15 miles). On the picturesque Helford Estuary (5 miles), Gweek is home to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, and you can hop on the Helford Ferry (13 miles) to explore the stunning grounds and the private beach of Trebah, one of many sub-tropical gardens in the area that are open to the public.
Tregannick Garden House is the perfect place to relax, from the bespoke country-style kitchen and dining room to the oak-framed lounge with its comfortable sofas and splendid vaulted ceiling. Light the wood burner, set inside a granite chimney breast, watch the Smart TV or plan tomorrow's outings as you enjoy the garden views. Lamps, pictures and throws create a cosy home-from-home atmosphere in this inviting room. Upstairs, there’s a spacious shower room, while a sumptuous zip-and-link super-king-size bed (can be made into a twin on request at time of booking) boasts countryside and sea views and promises a sound night’s sleep.
Outside, a large and delightful cottage garden envelops three sides of the property. To the rear and side of the house is a raised lawn area with mature shrubs and flowers. A patio terrace sits to the front and side of the building with a hot tub, sun loungers and a bistro table and chairs. There is onsite parking for two cars.
