We have just returned from a lovely week in Sussex staying at the Dog and Trout. The cottage was super comfy and well equipped, with lovely large bathrooms. Our cockapoo was able to stretch his legs in the pretty and secluded garden. We really appreciated the lovely welcome gifts and it was nice to meet the owners, Julie and Martyn, who were verRead morey helpful. We were lucky enough to have mostly sunny weather and particularly enjoyed the three village pubs, which were all dog friendly and served great food. We went for some lovely walks from the cottage across the downs, up to Cissbury Ring, and travelled further afield to the coast and to the Weald & Downland Living Museum. Would recommend a car to get to the shops and village eateries. We may well be back!! Hide
