A marvellous base for Dorset adventures, this charming property invites families or groups of friends to stay within easy walking distance of Weymouth’s many attractions. The coast is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, a stunning stretch of coastline with incredible geological interest and breathtaking views. Admire them from Chesil Beach, an 18-mile stretch of coastline just 5 miles away. At one end lies the Isle of Portland (7 miles), a great destination for walking or cycling, while at the other end, you’ll find West Bay (17 miles), the famous filming location for BBC’s Broadchurch. In between, visit the Vurlands Animal Farm (12.5 miles) with young children or admire the flora at the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens (9.5 miles).
