The Summer Isles lie to the north-west, and there are some stunning, peaceful beaches along the rugged coast, including Lochinver, Achmelvich Bay and Clachtoll Beach, all within 30 miles. For nature lovers, the breathtaking Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve (5.5 miles) offers a glimpse of Scotland’s extraordinary geological past.
