It’s located in an idyllic village with an excellent local pub, just 2 miles from Talacre’s sandy beach. Don’t forget to pop into Trelogan (1 mile) with its fresh milk vending machine and ice cream at Mynydd Mostyn Dairy. It’s a walkers’ paradise being so close to the beach and the Wales Coastal Path. You can choose whether you want gentle strolls or harder climbs as you approach the Pennant Walk, Offa’s Dyke and the Clwydian Range. Visit Holywell, 5 miles away, home to the world-famous 7th-century St Winefride’s Holy Well; one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. Enjoy a round of golf at Pennant Park, go to the local riding school, visit the smallest town in the UK, Caerwys (7 miles), or head to Mold (13 miles) with its street market, annual food festival and Theatr Clwyd. The charming seaside town of Prestatyn is just 4 miles away.
