Combining rustic features with sophisticated decor and unforgettable views, this incredible holiday home is an exceptional place for families or friends to escape to on the edge of Ilkley Moor. The town of Ilkley is just 4 miles away, or a 1.5 scenic walk across some fields, offering independent businesses, quality eateries, a pretty park on the edge of the River Wharfe, and a lido for those hot summer days. Be sure to check out Betty’s, the world-famous tearoom. Just a short drive away, the market town of Skipton (8 miles) is equally appealing, with a historic castle, beautiful woodlands, and a canal path for long walks. Both towns sit on the edge of the vast Yorkshire Dales National Park. Beautiful Bolton Abbey (6 miles) is a fabulous place for walking, as are The Strid (8 miles) the Valley of Desolation and Simon's Seat (7.5 miles). Head to Blubberhouses (12 miles) and walk around the twin reservoirs, Fewston and Swinsty, before dropping into the neighbouring town of Otley (10 miles) for some refreshments.

Set in a stunning rural location, the property is reached via a private lane on the owner’s farm, ensuring peace and tranquillity from the moment you arrive. Inside, traditional barn design elements, including exposed stone walls and wooden beams, have been maintained alongside contemporary decor and bespoke fixtures and fittings. The property boasts a real sense of spaciousness throughout, offering a tranquil rest where guests can unwind. On arrival, notice the well-placed utility-come-boot room on the ground floor, alongside a handy WC. You’ll then come across the first of three bedrooms, a handsome king-size room with its own en-suite bathroom facilities. At the heart of the house is the open-plan living space, with a lounge and dining area combined. This large room is truly impressive, with ample spots to curl up, a wood burner at one side, and panoramic views across the countryside. These views continue as you walk through into the kitchen, a well-designed space with a large kitchen island for casual dining and keeping the cook company. When it’s time to turn in, head upstairs to the bedrooms. You’ll find a large master bedroom with a zip-and-link super-king-size bed (can be made into a twin on request at time of booking), an en-suite bathroom and a sumptuous stand-alone copper bath. The second room is an equally comfortable double, also boasting its own en-suite.

Throw open the bi-fold doors in the kitchen and let your socialising spill out into the large garden. Entirely enclosed, grassy, and with large patio areas, this outdoor space is perfect for those sunny days. Admire the far-reaching, awe-inspiring views whilst you fire up the BBQ for dinner or take in the dark night skies from the comfort of the hot tub.
