A fantastic holiday home for families and friends, this delightful retreat has ample space for up to five guests eager to discover the glorious landscapes of the Lake District. The property lies in the characterful village of Portinscale, close to the northern shore of Derwentwater. The village is home to the Derwent Water Marina (0.5 miles) and is just a couple of miles from the lively lakeside town of Keswick. Keswick offers a wealth of great pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as popular attractions including the Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum and the Theatre by the Lake. Bassenthwaite Lake (3 miles) and the magnificent peak of Skiddaw (5.5 miles) are to the north, with other local landmarks and features including Castlerigg Stone Circle, Aira Force Waterfall, Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum, and Mirehouse and Gardens, all within 15 miles.
