Located centrally in Porlock a pretty coastal village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding streets and makes a perfect escape for families and couples alike. Porlock is set between the rolling hills of Exmoor and the sea lapping coastline and has a variety of shops and galleries, independent pubs and tea rooms all within 200 metres of the cottage. Located in Exmoor National Park with easy access to a vast choice of walks, cycle routes, fishing and birdwatching. Porlock Weir is 1.8 miles with its idyllic working harbour and pebble beach. Minehead is 5.5 miles with its sandy beach, seaside shops, family entertainments and access to the South West Coastal Path. Other attractions include Dunster Castle 7.8 miles, West Somerset Steam Railway 5.5 miles, Lynmouth cliff railway 11.7 miles, Tropiquaria Zoo 12.5 miles, Wildlife Safaris on Exmoor National Park and a day ticket can be purchased to enjoy the all-weather attractions and swimming pools at Butlin's.

You are welcomed into the delightful accommodation through the front door where you will be greeted by a cosy hallway. From here step into the lounge/diner and settle in for a snug evening with a bottle of wine and a film on the Smart TV, and for those cooler evenings snuggle up in front of the wood burner. There are French doors from the dining area that open into the enclosed garden. Head into the perfectly equipped kitchen/diner it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes and has a stable door opening into the garden. Completing the downstairs accommodation is a useful WC. Heading upstairs are two bedrooms, the master is a king-size and the second is a double. There is a large family bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower.

There is a table and chairs to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining and a glass of wine under Exmoor’s star-filled skies.
