Experience the Lake District’s natural beauty with a stay at this traditional stone property in the sought-after town of Windermere. Within 0.5 miles you’ll have local amenities like shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs. Bowness-on-Windermere (1 mile), right by the water’s edge, has even more dining options, as well as lake cruises and boating trips. Its World of Beatrix Potter Attraction will also be popular with children. Head to the Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre (3 miles), for archery, mini golf and boat tour bookings. Beatrix Potter’s former home (12 miles) is also well worth the trip for literary fans. Keen to lace up your hiking boots? On arrival, you’ll climb three steps up to the front door and step into a spacious hallway.
