If you’re in need of a stroll, grab your hiking boots and set off to discover the 650 acres of woodlands in Brede High Woods (6 miles). Battle Museum of Local History has artefacts from the Battle of Hastings and other historical exhibits.
In the evening, come home to the house’s large garden and host a stylish al fresco dinner for your loved ones. Take your spot in the private parking area (there’s room for six cars) and head to your delightful, period residence. Step inside and you’ll find plenty of place to store your outdoor gear in the entrance hall. One of the king-size rooms has its own en-suite shower room – and it’s conveniently accessible via a lift for wheelchair users. The lift will also fit an additional person alongside the wheelchair.
