Enjoy the best of all worlds when you book this attractive cottage in the picturesque surroundings of Perth and Kinross in Scotland. With a beautiful garden set against the views and a hot tub for outside relaxation, the retreat is ideal for couples or a small family. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom holiday home sits in the grounds of the owner’s home but enjoys privacy. It is 2 miles from the village of Methven and 8 miles from bustling Perth, with its museums, art galleries, restaurants and racecourse. Venture 13 miles to Scone Palace to tour the impressive house and explore 300 acres of woodland. Visit Buchanty Spout, a natural salmon leap on the River Almond, 6.5 miles away. Head 10 miles to bustling Crieff to potter in the shops and tour the Glenturret Distillery. Keen golfers won’t want to miss out on an afternoon at Gleneagles, 15.5 miles away.

Make your way into this inviting cottage via the front door and hall, where you can slip off your boots and hang your jackets. Amble on through to the lounge to rest and recuperate after your latest hike. Read your books or watch the Smart TV in this calm, airy space. Choose to head through to the bright sunroom instead, where you can also unwind on comfortable seating. Settle back and simply gaze out at the rolling countryside around you. Open the door to the garden in here to bring in a pleasant breeze or to wander outside. Follow the hall down to the kitchen/diner, where you will find everything you need to help you cater for your party. Dine together in here too or eat outside during the summer months. A handy utility room and a separate WC are also downstairs. Your bedrooms are both up on the first floor of the cottage, together with the family bathroom. Both the twin and the double, which has a shower cubicle in the room, have scenic views.

Enjoy your outside space to the full as often as the weather permits. Dine out on balmy evenings and soak in the hot tub long into the night. There is off-road parking for two cars.
