There are beautiful walking trails and picnic spots to enjoy here, and lovely views across the River Deben.
The cosy lounge of this well-preserved little mill is full of character and charm, with a wealth of splendid original beams. Simply furnished, with a comfortable two-seater sofa and a sofa bed, it has a TV for cosy nights in. A pretty white table and chairs for two provide a romantic dining spot and French doors open to a garden. A light and bright conservatory extension houses the country-style kitchen, with a door leading out to a suntrap patio. A shower room with a cubicle and WC are also on the ground floor. A wooden staircase with open treads leads to the double bedroom with an en-suite cloakroom and WC. This is a gorgeous room, with exposed ceiling beams, lovely far-reaching country views, and a beautiful white, wrought-iron bed furnished with soft bed linens and lace.
While the mill stands in the owner’s grounds, it has its own suntrap patio area outside with garden furniture.
