Situated in the coastal village of Ravenscar, this semi-detached stone cottage is a wonderful base for a relaxing family holiday in Yorkshire. Just 10 miles north of Scarborough, Ravenscar sits on a cliff top, boasting dramatic views along the Heritage Coast and across Robin Hood’s Bay. If you fancy a walk, the Cleveland Way National Trail winds through the village, as well as the Lyke Wake Walk, which crosses the North York Moors National Park. If you fancy exploring on two wheels, the National Cycle Route 1 also passes through, with Whitby and its iconic abbey just 11 traffic-free miles away.
From the entrance hallway, head into the comfortable lounge to light the wood burner and relax in front of the TV/DVD. A kitchen has everything you need to rustle up some home-cooked delights, which you can enjoy in the dining room, overlooking the garden. Also on the ground floor is a handy WC. When the day turns to night, head upstairs to the first floor where you will find all three bedrooms, a king-size, a twin zip-and-link, and a single, plus a bathroom.
Outside, a gated front garden with steps features a patio with garden furniture so you can make the most of the sunshine and dine alfresco. There is also an enclosed rear garden, with a large shed for the storage of bicycles.
