Enjoy a peaceful getaway with a small group of friends or family at this lovely property in the middle of the gorgeous Mid Wales countryside. You’ll be on the site of a working farm, with the River Wye just 2 miles away. The nearest village is Erwood (2 miles), a pretty location with a pub you can visit for a quiet pint, and there’s a shop at Llyswen (3 miles). Head to the Brecon Beacons National Park for outstanding scenery, and plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities (11 miles).

You’ll enter into a small hallway leading to the cosy kitchen/diner decked out in neutral tones. A step up from the hallway leads to the lounge, a spacious room with lovely wooden beams as well as a wood burner housed within a spectacular stone fireplace. You can relax on the cosy sofas and watch some TV in the evenings. From here, stairs lead up to the first floor where you’ll find two bedrooms – a double and a single – plus a bathroom. You’ll notice the quaint windows sit almost at floor level, due to the cottage-style gable walls.

At the front of the property there’s a path flanked by a gated planted border. The enclosed rear garden, accessible via the lane, is on two levels. There are grassy areas for kicking back on in warm weather, with furniture and beautiful views. In addition, the owners live close by and are delighted for holidaymakers to enjoy and explore their hill farm.

Picturesque cottage in the heart of a working farm, the owners of the cottage are friendly and welcoming. The view from the cottage is fantastic with long views down the valley where you can watch Ian and his sheepdogs working with the sheep. Happy to stay here again.

Lovely little cottage. Very impressed with how clean it was and how well resourced the kitchen was in such a small space! The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us a true picture of farming life in wales, the children loved watching out of the window.
