Everything you need will be within 500 metres of your front door, including the beach, a pub, chip shops and the pier. You may choose to pop to Walberswick (1.5 miles), a pretty coastal village you can reach via foot ferry in the summer months. The secluded Covehithe beach, a peaceful stretch of sand backed by pretty golden cliffs, is around 5 miles north – you could walk there from the house if you’re feeling energetic.
You’ll step inside this charming period property directly from the street. Everything has been refitted to a high standard and the accommodation has a super-modern feel to it. Downstairs, there’s a cosy sitting room with two large sofas facing each other, a TV/DVD player and a gorgeous decorative original fireplace. In the spacious kitchen/diner, you’ll find a contemporary kitchen with white units and a breakfast bar and stools, plus a round dining table and chairs for enjoying meals together. There’s additional seating here, including a sofa, for relaxing. Triple doors from here lead out to the courtyard. There’s also a WC tucked under the stairs. Head upstairs and you’ll find three bedrooms, starting with a king-size room which has an en-suite shower room with a lovely grey-and-white tiled floor. The twin bedroom has zip-and-link beds that can be made into a king-size if necessary, while the third bedroom has a double bed. The family bathroom is also on this floor.
