Spacious and comfortable cottage for four or five guests in the heart of a busy town situated in a beauty spot in the Devonshire countryside. From the home you will be able to easily reach the town’s shops, pubs, and eateries, all within 0.5 miles. Head to the quay (0.5 miles) and take part in stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking along the estuary admiring the views. Visit Salcombe (6 miles) with its two peaceful, sandy beaches perfect for sunbathing or rock pooling. The South West Coast Path also passes through Salcombe, join the long-distance route that takes in some of the best coastal views of Devon and Cornwall. If you want to try out surfing, head to Bantham which is just 5.5 miles away.

This charming cottage has been stylishly decorated and furnished making it super practical and welcoming for groups of friends or a family to base themselves. The contemporary kitchen/diner has a useful breakfast bar and six-seater table as well as all the facilitates you need to cook up a storm for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Spend an evening in the comfortable lounge,  and watch your favourite Netflix series or films. Head upstairs to get some sleep in one of the two bedrooms. Firstly, is the king-size master bedroom which is bright and airy with storage space, or choose the triple bedroom with a double bed and single bed. There is a handy separate WC, and a bathroom with large walk-in shower and another WC.

Situated on a one-way street with side entrance, you will be able to unload the car directly outside the property and will need to find suitable public parking for the duration of your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. The parking was hit and miss but never more than a 5 mins walk. Our dog loved the dog park!

We enjoyed our stay at Saltrock Cottage. It was a real home from home. We managed to find parking every day without any problem and having the park opposite was good for our dog. The location was very good less than 10 minutes to the town centre.

Very central location and lovely and bright and airy. Plenty of kitchen utensils too. Park for dogs just over the road. Dont be afraid of there being no parking at the property as we always managed to park at the small car park opposite . There is also a car park at Tesco, 3 minutes walk away. Both easy to renew on the Ringo App .

In general a nice place to stay. Perfect for few days or a week, but for three weeks some things could be improved: fridge too small, not enough bowls and plates, pots and pans too old/damaged, washing and drying machine is very slow, heating was on only few hours in the early morning and evening so that towels wouldnt dry very good.

The cottage was extremely comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The park, directly opposite the cottage, was really useful for our 2 dogs. It was a fairly short walk to and from the Quay area but we found going via Church Street, rather than Fore Street, was a much easier walk. A lovely stay in a comfortable cottage. Great location near great shops, not far from some beautiful beaches. Good WiFi and comfy beds and bedding. Overall a great stay!

This was a lovely little cottage to stay in for the week. Modern interior, very clean, and a quick walk to the nearby high street which had most shops you'd want / need. Don't be put off by the lack of garden, there is a small park directly opposite the house only a few steps away which was useful for those evening toilet trips for the dog. We wereRead more concerned about the lack of parking however we alternated between the few on street parking spaces directly outside the house, and the small car park next to the park opposite the house, and we always managed to find a space throughout our stay.
