A gorgeous, period cottage at the heart of the Suffolk village of Westleton, this inviting holiday home is ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy both the countryside and the coast. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom property is 2.5 miles from the stretching pebble beach at Dunwich. Plan walks through the scenic countryside and woodland around you or across the colourful heath at Dunwich, known for its abundance of wildlife. Bird lovers can also visit RSPB Minsmere, 2.5 miles away. Dine out in one of the village pubs or venture 8 miles into Southwold, with its broad array of eateries. You can also browse in the independent shops here, spend time on the beach and stroll along the pier.
Open the front door to the cottage to find yourself in an inviting, open-plan lounge/diner with a pamment floor, exposed brick fireplace and beautiful, heavy, timber beams across the ceiling. This leads through to the kitchen, where you will find all the modern appliances you will need during your stay. Stairs that are steep, yet with ample width, lead up from the lounge to the first floor. Here there are two lovely bedrooms – one a king, and one a twin with 2'6 beds which can be arranged as a king if requested at time of booking. There is also a family bathroom and utility room up here.
Make the most of the generous, enclosed, south-facing garden, with its lawn for games and patio for BBQs and summer lunches.
