Lovely cottage, very clean throughout. Lovely big garden. Excellent information folders giving detailed instructions on how to operate everything, also information on what to do in the local area. Extremely friendly and polite host. We had a very relaxing stay for a week.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage. Every comfort you could need is catered for. The new extension blends the old & new with style. The garden is very pretty & much enjoyed by us and our Dachshund Bert. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept well in the peaceful location. Grimston is a lovely little village with walks from the cottaRead morege door and a great local Pub serving tasty food. Many places to visit most within a thirty minute drive some of our favourites being Holt, Wells next the Sea,and Sunny Hunny ! We also used the local bus into Kings Lynn for a day off driving which was quite amusing with a dog who didn't like anyone getting off the bus ! We were spoilt for choice when eating out as North Norfolk is well served with some fantastic Pubs & Tea rooms . We heartily recommend Byfords in Holt & Bang in Wells for lunch. Also enjoyed a fish & chip supper on our last night from the Van that visits the village, very tasty and excellent value for money. Many thanks again to Alison & Gary and we hope to come back soon. Having stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, this was one of the best. It was a sympathetically restored traditional house, well equipped, clean and comfortable throughout. The garden was lovely, well-maintained and private. There are walks at either end of the village. The location was excellent - the village is only a few miles from KinRead moregs Lynn, but still surrounded by countryside. There are many places to visit in the surrounding area. The local pub is friendly and serves good food. What more could one want? Just to add - my husband has mobility problems, and uses a mobility scooter when we are out, as he cannot walk far. He managed the 'Norfolk stairs' no problem. When out, almost everywhere we visited was accessible for the scooter. In short, we had a great holiday. Hide

Our 3rd visit to Carrstone Cottage. We love it here as its perfect for our needs a couple and a dog. The garden is fully enclosed and an absolute sun trap, which was appreciated by us all. The cottage itself is lovely - be mindful of the stairs as original and steep if you are less mobile. Is in a great spot for exploring Norfolk and close to SanRead moredringham, Hunstanton and Burnham Market. Slightly further out are Wells and The Broads. We will definitely be back but would say there are a few things which could enhance a stay. We struggled to find a broom, dustpan and iron and Id welcome hairdryer etc. that said when we head to Norfolk again Carrstone would be our go to choice Loved the touches eg wine, milk and dog treats on arrival Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrstone Cottage with our two dogs. The cottage is very comfortable and homely and the log burner was a welcome addition. The property was lovely and clean too. We are already discussing booking again for next year.
