Nestled on the edge of Blakeney National Nature Reserve, this cottage is ideally positioned for exploring the area’s beauty by foot. Walk to the saltmarshes (0.5 miles), and follow along the Norfolk Coast Path to see the area’s unique flora and fauna. The best way to see the wildlife is by boat. Ferry trips depart regularly from Morston Quay (2 miles) to Blakeney Point where it’s common to see seals and a fantastic array of migrating birds. Back in the village of Blakeney, you’ll find shops, pubs and restaurants, and a supermarket.
Inside the cottage, you’ll find a stylishly updated space peppered with antique furniture. On the ground floor is a comfortable living room complete with a wood burner, piano and wall-mounted, SMART TV which doubles as a mirror. The kitchen/dining area has a modern farmhouse feel and is equipped with an electric oven, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. This leads to the sunroom which has seating and French doors that open onto the garden. There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor which can als be made into a double, and upstairs, there are a further two bedrooms, both with en-suite WCs. One is a twin bedroom which can be converted into a king-size bed on request, and the other features a king-size sleigh bed. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower and WC.
To the rear of the property is a sunny and enclosed courtyard garden. Here, there is comfortable rattan furniture – the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine after a long day of exploring. The property also benefits from having a parking space in a shared courtyard, plus one additional permit for Blakeney Harbour Room Car Park opposite the cottage.
