With attractive stone flooring throughout and a bright and airy interior, this former dairy has modern touches for a comfortable stay for up to four guests. It’s all on one level but there is one step up to the master bedroom and two steps down from the dining area into the lounge and the second bedroom. Nearby, Beaumaris has a historic castle and scenic walks can be taken along the coast to the spectacular Penmon Point with its ancient priory, dove cote and lighthouse. Boat trips can be taken to explore Puffin Island and its wildlife, or rib rides for the more adventurous. The small town of Menai Bridge is 13 miles away and it has many independent shops and a selection of quality cafes and restaurants for you to explore.
You enter the property into the open-plan living room/diner. Beautifully presented, it has a high Cathedral-style ceiling, two sofas, and a Smart TV with Netflix/DVD/CD. There’s also a wooden dining table, chairs and bench that seat up to six people. The Shaker-style kitchen has a Belfast sink, wooden worktops and is styled with reminders of the cottages' heritage including slate window sills, a milk churn and butter paddles. You then have the two bedrooms and a shower room. Bedroom one has a super-king-size bed and plenty of storage; bedroom two has twin single beds. The shower room offers a large, walk-in shower with tiles and a WC.
The property is located in an enclosed, spacious courtyard surrounded by traditional stone walls. There is garden seating for four within the courtyard along with a BBQ, fire pit and off-road parking for cars/boat. There’s also secure bike storage available. Guests are warmly invited to explore the wonderful gardens of the neighbouring farmhouse. It has a terrace with a pond and raised planters, plus a traditional walled garden. There’s also an orchard, swing and seating positioned to admire the wonderful views.
