Enjoy a cottage stay right by the sea in the fishing village of Appledore in a spacious three-storey property, a fantastic option for families. Appledore itself provides a plethora of attractions including pubs, shops, galleries and eateries which are just a short walk from the property. The golden beach of Westward Ho! is only 3 miles away, while Instow Beach is accessible on a scenic trip on the seasonal ferry. Both locations allow guests to relax or get the adrenaline pumping during a surf session. For avid golfers, the Royal North Devon Golf Club is also within 2 miles.

Entering the lounge, characterful beams line the ceiling and there is a feature fireplace and plenty of seating for all the family to get together. The kitchen is modern and bright with ample preparation space, and a separate dining area set to cater for up to six guests. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom and a family bathroom, whilst the two twin rooms are located on the top floor, up a low, curved staircase. These rooms on the highest floor and you can see Instow beach from the top floor bedroom. 

A door from the lounge leads through to the walled courtyard area, decorated with potted plants and offers a secluded outdoor seating area up some steps for the spring and summer months.

A lovely cottage in a very quiet location but near all the pubs and restaurants. perfect for a relaxing getaway. we will definitely be back again.

The cottage is a good location, was clean and well maintained. The stairs are very steep particularly the run leading to the top floor. Even though we are not disabled we found it difficult and this should be mentioned in the details. The log burner was welcome but there was not enough fuel for two nights, no paper to light the kindling and no matcRead morehes. Hide
