Situated 0.5 miles from the centre of Swanton Abbott village, this lovely home from home is close to many of Norfolk’s most popular attractions. Head 10 miles to visit the sandy shores and stripey lighthouse at Happisburgh, or travel 7.5 miles to Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, for days out on the water at this beloved national park. Closer to home, Buxton is 3.5 miles away where you can ride the Bure Valley Railway or enjoy some Norfolk ale at one of the pubs.
Stepping into this converted cart barn, you’ll notice character features such as exposed brick walls and beamed ceilings. The open-plan living space is a great place in which to relax after days out on the Broads or by the coast; it is complete with comfortable seating, a widescreen TV and a wood burner-effect electric fire to create a cosy ambience. The sitting area leads through to the kitchen which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box and microwave – rustle up a delicious meal and dine at the table in here too. You also have use of the owner’s washing machine on request. When the day is done, retire to the serene bedroom which has a double bed. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with a cubicle and thermostatic shower, and a WC.
Outside is an attractive courtyard garden with a table and chairs, which is the perfect spot for soaking up the sunshine with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. There is also a BBQ for sunny summer evenings. Off-road parking is available for one car.
