Beautiful beaches abound, from the stretching dunes of Tywyn y Fach (2.5 miles) to Abersoch Beach (3 miles) and atmospheric Hell’s Mouth (3.5 miles). Walk the exquisite Llyn Coastal Path, westwards from Abersoch to Caernarfon Castle (27 miles), or east through Pwllheli (6 miles), Criccieth (14 miles) and Black Rock Sands to Porthmadog (both 20 miles). Ride the atmospheric Ffestiniog Railway from Porthmadog, east to Blaenau (31 miles) or north to Caernarfon.
Inside the cottage you’ll find a cosy and stylish interior, bursting with period character and contemporary comfort. The lounge has a lovely wooden floor, an exposed Welsh stone inglenook fireplace with a timber arch, a wooden chest coffee table, and a wall-mounted TV. Summon marvellous meals in the tranquil kitchen, whilst chatting with the family in the dining area, two steps down, where there’s also a TV. The ground-floor bathroom has LED lighting and a heated towel rail. There are two ground-floor double bedrooms, the master bedroom having dual aspect windows and a fabulous pine door. Upstairs, you’ll find the restful twin bedroom, with restricted headroom and smaller beds for children.
Outside, soak in the six-seater hot tub all year round, beneath the gazebo, whilst looking out to sea. The enclosed terraced patio has sublime views towards Hell’s Mouth, Abersoch and Cardigan Bay. Enjoy a BBQ and drinks at the bar, whilst the kids burn off energy in the large garden/field. There’s also a large changing/shower room with a shower cubicle, hanging space and WC.
